Island Air Service’s New Aircraft Paint Scheme
Island Air Service Cherokee N31589, recently returned from the paint shop in Canada, sporting our new paint scheme. After several months in the shop where the aircraft was taken down to bare metal and carefully repaired and then painted, we are pleased to display the new paint scheme.
Island Air Service plans to send our remaining Cherokee’s out to get the new paint scheme. We believe that this new look really supports our commitment to our village customers by providing clean, freshly painted and well-maintained aircraft on all our scheduled flights.
We didn’t arrive at this paint scheme without considerable input from our own team and from our customers who ultimately voted via Facebook, for their favorite. So here it is – “589” in the gleaming, red, black and white of our new livery. Thanks for your input. The next time your fly in “589” be sure to let your pilot know you recognized the new paint job.
