At Island Air Service, we recognize that we provide more than just air cargo service – much more.   We know that our customers on Kodiak Island depend on us to provide timely and reliable delivery of food, medicine, tools, equipment and all types of freight. Island Air Service links with other cargo carriers such as Alaska Air, ACE and Lynden to connect to a larger network and expand our capabilities to provide full air cargo service.  Island Air Service also handles  U.S. mail to Kodiak's six villages and remote water destinations.   We are also contracted to deliver UPS packages.   Our customer service agents will notify you prior to shipment to ensure that you are available to receive your UPS orders. 

The turbine Cessna Caravan can carry loads of up to 2500 lbs and is configured with large cargo doors to accommodate oversize shipments.  

Island Air Service has a FedEx retail service counter available to receive and process FedEx packages 7 days a week during normal business hours.  We have chillers and freezers to handle perishable products and hold them prior to shipment.  

Our cargo team is trained to expertly handle all types of freight, including hazardous materials and perishable items.  Island Air Service’s customer service professionals are always available to answer questions and keep you updated on the status of your shipments.
